Glenn and Sharon Frey adventures began February 13, 1982, our wedding day. Our paths have traversed through: raising two fine young men, owner/operator small truck farm and produce stand with lots of 'sweat-equity', years of home canning (pickles, okra, tomatoes, peppers), selling produce and plants at Farmer Market, participated in regional festivals under the banner of Woodsong Design, small town government (Sharon-Mayor and Glenn-Councilman) and 75 + combined years in the education arena. Glenn taught science, health, history, coaching; Sharon taught health, coaching, biology as well as 11 years SHSU as an instructor in the agriculture department. Our newest venture is a three-hive honeybee apiary.
Here we are: RETIRED! However, gardening and teaching are just in our 'grain' and why have the knowledge if it is not shared? Plus, we discovered it is difficult for us to plant a 'small' garden or raise a 'few' plants. The opportunity to have a brick-and-mortar location at The Emporium was one we could not ignore. It is a great location to enjoy the community spirit and "Share the Harmony of Nature".
